First I went out and bought a plain white T for .99 cents. Next I found some really cute high wasted jeans for 4$. Then I went searching for the right shoes. In Ireland’s look she rocked a cute military style boot, but here in OK that could get pretty hot! So I went with a nice pair of reddish leather boots with a woven toe.

 I created this complete outfit by thrifting, and DIY. To get inspired for your t-shirt and short cutting ideas, I always hit up Pinterest. Pinterest will always give you more inspiration than you know what to do with! The styles I chose you can see in my photos through out my blog. I just followed a few simple steps for my t-shirt cuts, and then embellished the fringe I made with some wooden vintage beads I picked up from a friend, to add detail. Then I simply cut the high wasted jeans to a desired length, and added stripes to the inside pockets with tape and red fabric paint. I also studded the front pockets and back pockets to give the shorts a little edge. Who knew studs would be so easy:)

For all of your accessory needs call on your own closet, friends, and family. For instance I used some old leather scraps to make the headband, which I just braided together and fit to my models head. Then had my model shop in her closet to get the soccer socks we used, and all of her accessories.
